Self Improvement Seminars
These short seminars are targeted to specific topics and needs with a two-hour format, and
valuable take-away guides. They can be taught to the public by a USPS instructor.
Each seminar also provides members credits toward the soon to be released
Boat Operator Certification program, and credit toward elective courses.
Cost is about $30/seminar/student. In additon to the seminars listed below, several more seminars
are nearing completion and will be available soon: Knots for Mariners, Onboard Emergencies, Using
Digital Charts, and Heavy Weather Sailing. For more info on any of the listed seminars, click
